COMPANY OVERVIEW

The Saudi British Bank (SABB) is a Saudi Joint-Stock company licensed to conduct banking business in accordance with the provisions of the Banking Control Law and other laws and regulations issued by the supervisory and regulatory authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where the bank has a very strong and rich record in banking business as well as a successful history in the Kingdom in the launch and provision of banking services and products for retail and corporate customers. SABB was established on 21 January 1978 by overtaking the activities and services of the British Bank of the Middle East in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and is considered as one of the major banking investment joint-stock companies. The bank started with a capital of SAR 100 Million which doubled over the following years to reach SAR 20,547,945,220 divided into 2,054,794,522 shares each of a nominal value of SAR 10 which last increase was endorsed by the Extra-Ordinary General Meeting held on 15 May 2019. The bank is managed through an organizational structure which consists of the Head Office in Riyadh, and area managements in Alkhobar and Jeddah and with a branch network of 100 branches. SABB is one of the first banks to issue credit cards in the Saudi Market, use ATMs for equity subscription services, and in financing and supporting of social responsibilities activities.
